Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains what happens after you pay GreyBoxQuant, and when a refund is due. It applies to Trading Lab access, the only thing on sale at the moment.

The short version. Try the Lab free first — a full module costs nothing and needs no card. Once you buy paid access it is not refundable, because you have already seen what you are buying. We always refund duplicate or mistaken charges.

1. What we sell

Prices are in Indian Rupees and shown on the checkout page before you pay; that is the amount charged. Courses and one-to-one calls are not on sale at present — if that changes, this page will be updated before they are.

2. Try before you pay

The whole of Module 1 of the Trading Lab is free, along with practice sessions — no payment and no card details. That is deliberate: you can judge whether the Lab suits you before any money changes hands, which is a better test than any refund window.

3. Paid access is not refundable

Because the free tier lets you try the product properly first, payments for Lab Pro are not refundable once access has been granted.
Access begins immediately on payment, and digital content cannot be returned.
We do not give partial or pro-rata refunds for time you did not use.
This does not affect your rights under applicable law.

4. There is nothing to cancel

Lab Pro is not a subscription. Each payment buys a fixed period — 30 days or 12 months — and we never store your card or charge you automatically.
When the period ends your access simply stops. You are not billed again unless you choose to buy another period.
So there is no cancellation to make and no mandate to revoke. If you no longer want Lab Pro, do nothing.

5. When we do refund

Regardless of the above, we will always put right a charge that should not have happened:

Duplicate payments — charged twice for the same period.
Failed payments — money left your account but access was never granted.
Our failure to deliver — if the Lab is unavailable for a prolonged period and we cannot put it right.

We also keep the discretion to refund anything else if we think it is the fair thing to do. If you believe you have a case, write to us and say so — we would rather hear it than not.

6. How to reach us about a payment

Email hello@greyboxquant.com from the address on your account, telling us what you bought and when. Including the Razorpay payment ID from your receipt helps us find it immediately. We aim to respond within 2 working days.

7. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are issued through Razorpay, our payment processor, to the original payment method. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, account or UPI ID.
We initiate the refund within 2 working days of approving it. Your bank or card issuer then typically takes a further 5–7 working days to post it to your statement. That last step is outside our control.
Refunds are made in INR for the amount charged, and access to paid features ends when a refund is issued.

8. Fair use

We may suspend an account that shows evidence of abuse — for example sharing or redistributing paid content, or circumventing access controls. See our Terms of Use.

9. What this policy does not cover

Nothing on this site is investment advice, and results are not guaranteed. A refund is not available on the basis of trading losses, or because the educational material did not produce a particular outcome.
